Comments: Pretty speedy 20 minute warm up alone. The boys invited me to do some hills with them and willingly I ran with them over to the hill and was only going to do 3 or 4 hills (I haven’t done a hill workout in forever!). I was pushed to do 5 and felt like fainting while doing them and then afterwards too. Oh well, it was fun and I like hills. I still need to lose some damn weight!

Comments: AMAZING!!! I ran a solid 8:11 min pace for 8 miles. For some reason it didn’t even feel that fast. I really did not notice how fast I was going until I got to the 1/2 way mark: The Star of India. Last week I did this run and it took me 35:00 minutes to get to the 1/2 way mark, today it took me 33:33! I was so excited. I love this distance. Its enough to give a runner’s high, but its not too much where I come home dead. I really hope I can do the 1/2 marathon in 2 weeks…as long as I register I’m going to do it. Oh, and my ankle is for sure better :)

Comments: Okay so that was a really nice run. I ran with Simone today to PLNU. I realized that its about 1.3 miles to the hill, 1.2 miles or so up-hill, and then 0.5 miles to the entrance to the University. It was fun! And we had a pretty good pace going. We KILLED all hills on that run. The only negative factor was that I stumbled off a really high curb hurting my ankle. Hopefully I will only be a bruise. SO FAR: 28 MILES RAN THIS WEEK!
